The Abbey Bike Tools T way precision multi-tool is a great addition to the shop at home or work. This is built as a more robust multi use tool than our compact 4 way using the same durable stainless steel our Crombie heads use.

Everybody makes a multi-tool and there's a little bit of everything on the market, so what's different about ours? All of the little things that add up to one nice tool. A multi tool is only as good as it's tool engagement so that's where we started. If you're familiar with other Abbey tools you've no doubt noticed that they fit tighter than anything else out there and this one is no different. We use precision stainless steel bits from WERA that fit like a glove into the bolts on your modern bike. They won't strip out fasteners like the cheap offshore made tools that are so common in the bike world.

The next part of the multi-tool is the chassis, for this we used our favorite US drawn stainless steel alloy and built a frame to hold the bits.  Offering good leverage for all of the small fasteners on your bike, be it the precision adjustment of limit screws or assembling your bike for a fly away trip.

Available in 2 pre-configured options with fixed bits, a made to order version or an  option with the new bit set and magnets for the user to assemble the tool with swappable bits in whatever way they choose. Note, fixed bits are replicable but should not be view as easily interchangeable. Instructions on how to replace the bits can be viewed here.

Custom bit options available below, please leave a note in the box at checkout with which 3 you would like.

Hex Bits: 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6

Torx bits: 10, 15, 20, 25, 30

#2 jis (DIN) compatible Phillips (aka cross point)

1.0mm slotted

Do you want to replace a bit or convert your frame to use magnets, check out the video instructions.

Would Buy Again Without Hesitation

"As with all Abbey Tools I own there is just an added level of quality above anything else on the market I have found. I love my T-Way wrench and ten piece bit set. The magnets are super strong and the interface with bolts is premium that inspires confidence. I would gladly purchase this set again."

Tools perfected.

"I purchased this tool because it held bits with a magnet so I could swap out depending on my task. I began to question the quality of the machining at one point because some of the bits were sticking in the tool handle. I soon found out that the tool handle was perfectly fine, but the bits were out of tolerance. Excellent production quality. I love the weight of the tool, and the lack of rubber that just collects grease and dirt. The knurling on the handle ensures a good grip every time."

Leverage and interchange bits

"I never realized how much I needed this tool, it's great to have a tool that offers leverage and interchange bits, making it very versatile. This has proven to be far handier than I realized when I ordered it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this and get all the bits too!"

Q&A

What is the diameter of the longest arm of the tool?
The long end of the T way is just under 1/2" in diameter.
Hi Abbey, would it be possible to configure the T-way with a fixed 6mm and 8mm, similar to the Sramnation tool?
Sure is, just order a "custom" one and leave us a note with what bits you would like at checkout.
I'm assuming your T-Handle chassis can be changed from swappable to fixed as well? What does the chassis weight?
The chassis can be converted from fixed to swappable. It weighs 210 grams without bits.
Hi, is it possible to buy just the T handle without any bits inside, even Torx T25, just a T way with 3 free sockets. Thank You.
If you order a custom tool we can assemble it however you like. We refer to this specific option as "magnets only" and you can enter that in the note box at checkout.
Are you able to dispatch the T Way tool to the UK, it doesn’t appear so from the website, it won’t let me order one!
We do not ship to the UK, but Saddleback in Bristol can help you out.
Are the bits on the pre-configured SKUs held in with magnets too?
The preconfigured version have bits that are glued in. They can be replaced but they aren't quickly interchangeable. If you order the "custom" version and leave us a note at checkout we can assemble them with magnets if you prefer.
I want to order a T Way with the 10 bit set, what 10 bits (of the 13 available) come with the tool, or do I pick the 10 I want? Also what are the length and width of the tool?
You can pick the 10 that you would like. Just leave us a note at checkout.
